Position Overview The Supply Technician provides support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulation (TADSS) for the Warfighter Training & Readiness Solutions (WTRS) Contract.

Responsibilities / Duties

Prepare TADSS equipment for shipping. Schedule shipment pickup and delivery. Inventory inbound and outbound equipment. Keeps track of inventory levels to ensure that the business can meet demand without overstocking including coordinating with warehouses and using inventory management systems. Arranges the logistics of how goods are transported from suppliers to warehouses, and from warehouses to devices. Identifies and resolves any issues that arise in the supply chain process, such as delays in delivery, problems with suppliers, or production bottlenecks. Builds and maintains good relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiates contracts and maintains communication for timely delivery of goods and materials. Enter trouble tickets for equipment into on-line management information system. Maintain records of all inbound and outbound equipment. Ensures that all aspects of the supply chain comply with relevant laws and regulations, including environmental standards, safety regulations, and international trade laws.
