Inventory Accounting Specialist £70,000 – 12 Month Maternity Contract Large Manufacturing Business – East Birmingham Pertemps Recruitment are partnering with a large manufacturing business who are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Inventory Accounting Specialist to join their team in Birmingham. If you’re a forward-thinking finance professional passionate about process, precision, and performance – we want to hear from you! Reporting to the FC your duties will include: ” Support and manage cost and inventory accounting processes, including KPIs and dashboards. ” Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate product cost analysis. ” Assist in budgeting and forecasting inventory levels, COGS, and overheads. ” Ensure compliance with internal controls related to inventory and costing. ” Lead month-end close activities: journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory valuation. ” Drive standard costing reviews and annual cost updates. ” Oversee stock takes and manage R D tax reclaim processes. ” Handle ad-hoc financial queries from internal stakeholders and group teams.
