Intermittent work (approximately 2 weeks of work per month) About the Role We are seeking detail-oriented Inventory Specialists to join our team conducting onsite physical inventory audits for public school districts. As an Inventory Specialist, you’ll be part of a 3-5 person team that systematically inventories equipment throughout school facilities using professional barcode scanning technology. We work with schools all throughout Alabama as well as in many other states as well. What You’ll Do Conduct comprehensive physical inventories of school district equipment and assets Use handheld barcode scanners to scan tagged items throughout school facilities Work methodically through every room, office, and storage area in assigned buildings Maintain accurate records and ensure complete coverage of assigned areas Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently

Job Details Work Schedule:

Intermittent contract work with flexible scheduling Project durations vary from 3 days to 2 weeks Approximately 2 weeks of work per month (not guaranteed or regular) Most work days are 10 hours with paid breaks and lunch

Travel Requirements:

Overnight travel required for most assignments Some out-of-state projects requiring air travel Company covers all hotel accommodations and airfare $70/day per diem provided for meals and incidentals during travel

Physical Requirements:
