Inventory and Procurement Specialist Responsibilities :

Establish and apply a detailed inventory control system Maintain accurate records and reports for inventory control Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure sufficient inventory levels are maintained Analyze and reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner Coordinate with suppliers and receive incoming inventory shipments Liaison with suppliers, production, and leadership to ensure inventory levels meet requirements for upcoming production demand Oversee housekeeping tasks to ensure work and storage areas remain clean, orderly, and safe Organize, label, and store inventory to optimize space and ease of access Assist in procurement of goods, prepare purchase orders, and verify vendor and pricing information Recommend continued process improvement and cost reduction strategies

Physical Requirements:

Reach outward or above the shoulder Lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds Repetitive use of hands and fingers Exposure to constant and intermittent noise, fumes, smoke and gases, solvents, paint, grease and oils, variable temperatures, and elevated or slippery surfaces Ability to walk/stand on concrete floors continuously during shift

Qualifications :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience Previous experience conducting inventory counts or in warehouse operations preferred Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Aptitude in operating general office equipment Ability to work overtime, holidays, and some weekends
