Job Description
The OR Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing inventory within the Operating Room, ensuring accurate stock levels, tracking supplies, and supporting clinical staff in maintaining efficient workflows. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure the Operating Room is fully equipped for procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- + Maintain accurate inventory levels by tracking and replenishing supplies as needed.
+ Conduct routine audits of inventory to ensure all items are accounted for and properly stored. + Collaborate with clinical staff to anticipate supply needs based on scheduled procedures. + Address inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary. + Monitor expiration dates and manage the rotation or disposal of outdated items. + Utilize inventory management systems to track supply usage and generate reports. + Coordinate with vendors and the supply chain team for timely deliveries and purchasing. + Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations for inventory control. + Provide training to staff on proper inventory management practices.
