Position Overview:

This position is responsible for being a primary point of contact for audit reconciliation for approved dealers with rental lines. The Inventory Finance Audit Specialist will deliver exceptional service levels, mitigate risk by verifying possession of rental assets and ensure portfolio control. Commitment to

Internal Control:

The incumbent accepts the responsibility for establishing and maintaining the internal control system associated with the essential duties and responsibilities of the functional areas that the incumbent manages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

(List in order of time spent) Obtain and verify all necessary documents for requests to move assets from Inventory Finance lines to Rent to Own (RPO) and Dealer Owned Rental Fleet (DORF) lines. Confirm possession of assets with end users for existing rental asset lines in with consistent operational cadence ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures. Verify rental units on the payment stream via Accounts Receivable records. Upload rental documents to the OnBase and Wholesale systems ensuring the Wholesale system accurately reflects the correct status and notes. Leverage the Wholesale system and audit software to fully document conversations and correspondence in a timely manner. Identify and escalate problematic situations as they arise, communicating frequently with the Funding & Operations Manager and the Risk team. Collaborate and effectively communicate with internal staff, members of the Vendor Service team and other business units. Perform other job duties as required.

Management/Supervisory Responsibilities:

None. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Number of units verified (via phone call and A/R verification). Review of dealer rental invoices for accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision . Desire to work within a team environment, positive attitude. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must understand the unique risks associated with Inventory Finance.

Education and Experience:

College degree or equivalent experience preferred. 3+ years of experience. Minimum 1 year of Portfolio Management experience in Inventory Finance (floorplan). Experience with reconciling audit/floor checks and completing rental verifications with dealers and rental houses a plus. Accounting background a plus.

None.

Personal computer, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment.

Working Hours:

Hours may vary and require evening work depending on business needs and may require working overtime.

Travel:

Minimal, as needed for business needs. Occasional travel related to attendance at industry seminars.

Physical Demands:

Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment. Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc. Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person. Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another. The position is (exempt) and the salary will be between $60,000.00 and $75,000.00 with an opportunity to earn (a discretionary annual bonus). The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience and education.
