Job Summary The Property Associate is responsible to support the property control program at KSC and CCSFS to ensure continual accountability of Federal Government, or external customer property, are in compliant with corporate policy and Federal Government regulations Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Maintains property accountability records in company and Federal Government system of record Manages the excess program to include disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Also conducts annual equipment inventories and monthly material inventories; remediate all inventory discrepancies. Perform self-assessments and assist the Federal Government with Property Management audits. Review and update Property Management procedures and processes. Reviews and validate Federal Government property data entered by other organizations and provide guidance on company policy and government regulations pertaining to property accountability. This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Requirements Required Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent Required Years of Experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience Required Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc. Working knowledge of computer systems and computer administration
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to pass a NASA background investigation
Must be able to pass an initial and random drug testing
Must have and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License Preferred Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc. 4-8 years of relevant professional experience
