Your Role Responsible for store-level analysis of inventory performance, sharing awareness and reinforcement of inventory best practices Make timely and accurate inventory adjustments Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage in the store Assist in identifying obsolete inventory and assist store management the best method to sell, clearance or liquidate Train store staff on inventory management best practices About You Minimum of two years of inventory control experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to use computer and related software, RF guns and Computer and spreadsheet as well as other business tools Ability to train other members of the staff to keep inventory accurate. Possess analytical abilities needed to investigate/audit and resolve inventory discrepancies Knowledge and experience of all categories and product lines within all departments Experience with purchasing & inventory systems Ability to develop and maintain client relationships within and throughout the organization including suppliers, associates, management staff, support office, and vendors Ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort – typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Requires the ability to move heavier objects with assistance.
