We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized Inventory Specialist to manage and track our plant inventory. This role is vital to maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting sales, and ensuring smooth nursery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor incoming and outgoing plant stock to ensure accuracy and availability
• Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Tag and label plants with correct information (variety, size, price, etc.)
• Input and update inventory data in software or tracking systems
• Work closely with operations and receiving teams to maintain proper stock levels
• Assist with receiving shipments and staging new stock
• Identify damaged or unsellable product and coordinate removal
• Support seasonal inventory transitions and plant relocations
• Generate inventory reports as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in horticulture or retail
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in outdoor environments in various weather conditions
• Basic plant knowledge or willingness to learn plant identification
• Proficiency with inventory software or willingness to train
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
