Jadin Tech is looking for a Supply Specialist to support a U.S.

Government Customer Job Description:

The Supply Specialist will oversee the purchasing and distribution processes within the supply chain. Responsibilities include reviewing, documenting, and tracking functional and interface requirements for all Jadin Tech missions, as well as coordinating with external entities to resolve issues when necessary. The specialist will manage the inventory of products stored in the warehouse and collaborate closely with product suppliers and clients. This role involves handling the entire delivery process of products, including scheduling inbound and outbound shipments and monitoring their progress to ensure timely arrival.

Responsibilities:

Review and assess client needs, developing the most effective approaches to fulfill them. Oversee the entire shipment process, from acquisition to delivery. Communicate with clients, suppliers, warehouses, and transportation hubs to ensure efficiency. Input and monitor data using logistical software. Identify more efficient methods for moving or storing goods and personnel. Monitor warehouse operations and storage functionality while products are on-site. Conduct inventory checks as needed. Operate a pallet jack and forklift safely. Maintain an accurate inventory of product storage warehouses. Build and maintain business relationships with clients and product suppliers. Discuss and negotiate shipping rates with carriers. Set up and maintain schedules for inbound and outbound shipments. Direct the flow of organizational materials and products. Collaborate with other departments to implement logistical improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen. High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum Secret Clearance. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. U.S. Military experience is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, or logistics support. Proficiency in logistics and inventory software systems. Forklift operation certification is preferred or must be obtained upon hire. Ability to lift to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and standing for prolonged periods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with federal supply systems and property accountability is a plus Common demands include standing, walking, lifting, and using hands for repetitive motions. Some roles may also involve operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
