Job Description:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage Use Logistics software to log shipments, update inventory records, and generate reports Verify shipping documents, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure proper documentation Coordinate with drivers, office staff, and warehouse staff to facilitate smooth receiving operations Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of bonded freight, ensuring proper documentation and tracking Organize and label received items for proper storage and easy retrieval Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and report discrepancies Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and bonded warehouse regulations Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners when necessary Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely inventory reporting Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies through regular cycle counts and audits Utilize inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) to track stock levels and generate reports Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages in collaboration with warehouse teams Create pick orders for outbound
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) 2+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably handling bonded freight Proficiency in Magaya software for inventory management, tracking, and reporting Bilingual (English & Spanish preferred) to facilitate communication Forklift certification (preferred but not required) Basic computer skills and data entry experience Proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with warehouse procedures and best practices Ability to read and understand shipping documents and invoices Knowledge of customs regulations and bonded warehouse procedures Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
