Safeguard America is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Parts Specialist to support our maintenance team. In addition to managing inventory and vendor coordination, this person will also serve as the #2 in the shop , acting as a key support to the shop supervisor and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

Track and manage inventory for all maintenance parts and supplies Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments Organize and label inventory in storage areas for easy access Perform regular inventory counts and resolve discrepancies Accurately enter inventory data and maintain tracking systems Order parts and supplies as needed and maintain reorder schedules Serve as the primary point of contact for all parts and supply vendors Coordinate with vendors for orders, returns, price quotes, and delivery timelines Maintain up-to-date records of inventory usage and transactions Assist the maintenance team by locating and distributing requested parts Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies run low

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, parts management, or warehouse operations Familiarity with tools, machinery parts, or maintenance materials preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic inventory software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/maintenance environment Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently

Schedule & Pay:

Full-time:

Pay:

$18-$20 per hour , depending on experience
