Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory/Materials Technician to support our Engineering & Technology (E&T) department’s stockroom operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient management, distribution, and tracking of aerospace engineering components and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, store, issue, and track engineering materials and components Maintain accurate inventory records and reorder stock as needed Organize and maintain optimized stockroom layout and storage areas Manage excess inventory and distribute controlled stock appropriately Maintain part kitting in alignment with engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Operate a company vehicle to transport metal finishing requests to local suppliers Move palletized equipment and materials to various internal locations
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field High school diploma or equivalent Strong manual and clerical skills, with high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid driver’s license required
