Job Description Our Inventory Specialist will manage and accurately record commissary shipments using our inventory management system, and ensure efficient inventory controls. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized work environment, conducting weekly physical inventory counts, and ensuring product usage adheres to expiration dates. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to follow complex instructions, and strong problem-solving skills. Ideal candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using technology for inventory management and possess excellent communication abilities.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A NETJETS INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Check the receiving area at the FBO for deliveries (FedEx, UPS, etc.) during operating hours Accurately receive all incoming commissary shipments into the NetJets provided inventory management software and physically stock each item in the assigned location in the locker within twelve (12) hours of shipment delivery Includes preparing used linens for pickup, receiving, and stocking new linens, and discarding any nonstandard linens Preparation of sleep experience kits and other kits as needed Staging of stock in a method that uses product with the soonest expiration date first Supplier will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the commissary locker to provide a clean and safe environment At a minimum, the commissary locker should be swept or vacuumed and mopped twice a week The trash from the commissary locker should be removed daily Supplier will use NetJets provided inventory management system to accurately record appropriate transactions for each inventory item, this includes receiving items into inventory, validating inventory in the system matches physical inventory, adjusting inventory in the system to match physical inventory, and disposal of inventory due to damage or non-conformity Other duties as assigned You have a great attention to detail You enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasks Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must have reliable transportation Strong customer service skills Physical activity may include: Stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift 70 pounds or more Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environment Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) Qualifications Minimum age of 18 years old Previous experience in inventory management or related roles Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Effective communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets Ability to pass a drug screen Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
