JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Technology Services Specialist to join our IT Services team. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our computer hardware infrastructure across eight technology support zones. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing computer parts inventory, coordinating repairs, and ensuring timely support for all hardware-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and track inventory of computer parts and peripherals across all support zones.
Coordinate the repair and replacement of computer equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Serve as the primary liaison between support zones and central IT for hardware-related needs.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement processes when stock is low.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and inventory movements.
Collaborate with field technicians and support staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Implement and maintain inventory management systems and tools.
Assist in the development of standard operating procedures for hardware support and inventory control.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) from an accredited institution
Three years’ experience in technology-related services
OR
Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

Valid Florida Driver’s License
Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver Plan. Driver’s License must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
