Description
Responsible work managing the receiving, storing, and issuing of supplies, materials, and equipment. This position reports directly to the fleet manager.
•Salary will be determined depending on qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements as outlined within the job description. •Additional compensation based on licensure. Essential Functions

Ability to secure new accounts when needed, request purchase orders, stamp and code invoices, maintain accurate inventory levels and counts.
Perform cost analyzation, comprise inventory control recommendations.
Monitor minimum and maximum levels of inventory and make recommendations to maximize needed parts availability as well as cost savings to the County. Research possible consignment agreements to save the County Funds.
Analyze “just in time” deliveries verses equipment downtime awaiting parts, ability to recommend streamlining parts. Work directly with the QA and or lead tech in identifying parts, and if need be researching parts price and availability, work with outside vendors as needed in securing quotes. Experienced in fleet related inventory software systems; ability to maintain and generate reports via the “Faster System”.
Experienced in the safe operation of Forklifts as well as pallet Jack operation. Adheres to all safety policies and procedures at all times.

Additional Duties:

Performs duties as assigned/necessary which are related, or logical in assignment to the position.
In the event of an emergency, all employees are considered essential personnel and may be required to perform alternate duties.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma and/or GED ASE Certified in at least one of the following areas: P1, P2, of the ASE Program.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License (Class B-CDL is preferred)
A comparable amount of experience in a Fleet Parts Room environment may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
Additional Requirements
Experienced in securing parts and services, quality recommendations OE verses Aftermarket, replacement solutions when dealing with obsolete parts situations.
Communicates with customers, vendors, and management.
Establishes relationships with and creates preferred vendors for parts, supplies and outside services.
Skilled in the use and care of standard office machines and equipment. Experienced with automated office systems (Word, Excel, etc.).
All employees must attend Seminole County Required Trainings as well as Department Specific trainings per position may be required. Employer
