Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking to add a Sr. Supply Technician to our Materials Management team at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a Full-Time opportunity working 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday with the potential to work occasional weekends.
This position will work directly with licensed healthcare professionals and will make an impact on their ability to care for our patients. The ideal Sr. Supply Tech candidate will combine customer service, warehousing and inventory, and leadership experience to serve our customers.
As a Sr. Supply Technician, you will be responsible for:
Leading, coordinating, and monitoring the daily activities of the supply department
Providing limited supervision, such as determining work assignments
Assessing nursing supply needs
Finding substitutes for medical supplies in the event that we cannot order our usual items
Distributing supplies to customers and maintaining adequate inventory for assigned units.
Warehousing supplies, inventory control, equipment cleaning and distribution
Customer service desk, telephone coverage
The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, systems knowledge and experience, leadership experience, and problem solving skills.
