Full Job Description What You’ll Be Doing:
What You’ll Be Doing As the Inventory and Shipping Specialist , you must have the ability to complete data entry in both customer and company systems of record, perform double checks, assist customers with product location and delivery times. As the go-to person in the warehouse for inventory, you will be working with the warehouse team, our customers, as well as those in customer support and order fulfillment. As this position is fast paced, your day will go very quickly as you provide correct shipping paperwork and excellent customer service. You may also serve as load planners for all of our highest priority customer deliveries.

Monday – Friday 07:00 AM – 4:00

Scope and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Inventory & Shipping Responsibilities Perform inventory receipt entries in Chem-Star WMS and/or customer system(s) of record. Process specialized transactions (e.g., damage, hold, disposition) in Rinchem and customer systems. Conduct cycle counts and submit reconciliation reports. Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform quality checks on outbound shipments. Generate specialized shipping paperwork (BOLs, Manifests, IATA, IMDG) and calculate truck weight/load capacity. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding deliveries, inventory status, and dock scheduling. Handle 24-hour on-call responsibilities on a rotation or as needed. Assist with invoice coding, order creation, and entry via WMS and SAP. Maintain records, mail, filing systems, and facility office supply management.

Qualifications:
Qualifications & Preferred Experience Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred. SAP experience preferred. At least 3-5 years of experience in inventory controls, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination. Knowledge of NAVIS and port operations is highly desirable. Skills and Abilities Proficiency in SAP, Chem-Star WMS, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent multitasking and organizational skills with the ability to shift priorities quickly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Customer-service mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to handle face-to-face interactions with drivers and port personnel professionally. Understanding of transportation scheduling and logistics coordination across modes. Familiarity with non-conformance reporting and continuous improvement principles. Capable of obtaining regulatory certifications such as IMDG and IATA (training provided). Must be focused, self-motivated, and not easily distracted in a fast-paced environment.
