Full Job Description Overview:
The General Receiving Specialist is a member of the Production Control and Logistics Team and is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient receipt of goods to MSV. The GR Specialist ensures inbound shipments meet the required quantity and quality prior to receipt and tracks any and all discrepancies that may occur.
Responsibilities:
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) Takes ownership for maintaining accurate receipt of all inbound LP and CKD deliveries. Assist the Receiving SV in maintaining the MSV dock, through enforcement of published safety standards. Annotate all inbound discrepancies utilizing the PC and Logistics discrepancy format. Ensure that suppliers are notified of discrepancies prior to close of business each week. Manage communication with all MSV suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Demonstrating flexibility to support continuous improvement activities for personal and company growth. All other duties assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or 3 years equivalent industry specific experience required 1-3 years of GR Clerk/Inbound Receiving Experience Experience in the Automotive industry (Preferred)

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal management skills
Preferred Education & Experience:
SAP experience
