Role:

The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory management processes are efficient and effective. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with various departments to ensure that inventory needs are met. The Inventory Specialist will analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements. By optimizing inventory levels, this role directly contributes to reducing costs and improving service levels. Ultimately, the Inventory Specialist helps to ensure that our operations run smoothly and that we meet customer demands in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in inventory management or a related field. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field. Experience with data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with supply chain management principles. Certification in inventory management (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and manage stock levels. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, slow-moving items, and opportunities for cost savings. Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
