Job Summary The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for operational needs within the Plant Ops department. This role includes keeping precise records, coordination with vendors, and implementing inventory control best practices to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. This role will also perform maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks as needed to support the operational integrity of the facility. This position will work closely within the department to ensure that inventory processes align with overall operational goals. Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

Two years’ experience in inventory control or a related field, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment.

Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of inventory management software and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail Effective problem solving capabilities Data analysis and interpretation Time management and organization Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure necessary supplies are always available Analyze inventory trends and usage patterns to optimize ordering processes and reduce waste Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory and adherence to quality standards Maintain reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends for departmental review Identify discrepancies in inventory and escalate issues as necessary Perform maintenance and PM tasks as needed to ensure the operational integrity of the inventory related equipment and systems Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to inventory management systems Promote safety and compliance with regulations, ensuring that inventory practices meet organizational and regulatory standards.
