Robins AirForce Base – Georgia Inventory Management Specialist (IMS) MHSystems, Inc., is currently seeking seven_ (7) _ experienced Air Force Supply Planners to provide critical logistics and supply chain support to Government Supply Planners. This journeyman-level position involves supporting planning, forecasting, budget management, and the use of multiple supply chain systems to maintain and optimize sustainment for Air Force operations. Your Essential Functions and Impact will include (but not limited to): As an Inventory Management Specialist , you will be responsible for performing a full range of duties related to Production management: Support Government Supply Planners in executing day-to-day supply planning tasks Utilize ESCAPE and Service Parts Management (SPM / Servigistics) systems for requirements planning and analysis Maintain Automated Budget Control System (ABCS) files and assist with load list reviews for budget execution Develop and prepare Purchase Instrument packages in PRPS Assist Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with usage factors, requirements changes, discrepancies, and excess management Support EXPRESS system reviews and aid in resolution of repair, buy, and termination issues Conduct National Stock Number (NSN) reviews and cataloging actions using D143C and D043A Assist with asset status updates in LIMS-EV and processing D035A actions Support cataloging, disposal, front-end screening, and reclamation actions through the Stock Control System Assist with documentation and administrative processes including Form 8s and Form 95s Track shipment and delivery of assets and assist with contract terminations as needed Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email related to shipment, status updates, and order discrepancies Provide logistics support and guidance to the Requirements Control Officer (RCO) Deliver journeyman-level expertise to team members and less experienced personnel

Coordinate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), planners, and technical experts to ensure alignment of supply forecasts with operational demands Provide input and support during logistics readiness reviews, audits, and sustainment briefings Track status of Purchase Requests and Purchase Instruments to ensure timely funding and execution Support the resolution of system errors and supply chain data discrepancies across multiple platforms Identify and escalate systemic issues with NSNs, cataloging, and asset visibility to ensure accurate supply chain records Assist with developing internal process guides, SOPs, and continuity documentation for recurring tasks Provide real-time support for resolving issues involving contract termination, asset recovery, and shipment tracking Review and analyze stock position data to identify opportunities for excess drawdown, redistribution, or reclamation Conduct research to support item identification, alternate sourcing, or cataloging updates in support of RCO directives Support training of new team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts across the logistics team Communicate with vendors, buyers, and logistics specialists to ensure timely issue resolution and process adherence Participate in sustainment working groups and planning sessions to improve forecasting and demand planning practices
Required Qualifications :
MUST possess an ACTIVE Secret security clearance Minimum 8+ years of experience as an Air Force Production Management Specialist or equivalent logistics role
Preferred:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field Prior experience working with USAF or other DoD logistics programs
Required Education :
Preference is made for individuals with bachelor’s or master’s degrees.
Required Skills :
Proficiency in government logistics and supply chain systems (e.g., ESCAPE, PRPS, EXPRESS, LIMS-EV) Experience supporting contract terminations, repairs, and discrepancy resolution Familiarity with NSN reviews, cataloging systems, and excess inventory processing Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple systems and provide guidance to internal/external stakeholders Detail-oriented with strong documentation and coordination skills Experience supporting or working with the Requirements Control Officer (RCO) Ability to interpret planning documentation and prepare accurate procurement packages Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle external and internal inquiries professionally Apply today to be a part of a mission-critical logistics operation that keeps our nation’s systems and equipment mission-ready.
