Inventory Specialist – Baton Rouge, LA
FULL-TIME/LONG-TERM/EVALUATION HIRE
$17.50-20 / HR 7 AM -3 PM Monday-Friday Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for an Inventory Specialist for a local client in Baton Rouge.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
for
Inventory Specialist:
Oversee and execute all vendor receiving tasks Material handling Develop and implement effective inventory management procedures Ensure proper labeling of warehouse inventory storage locations Collaborate with department leads to optimize inventory management Organize and conduct daily physical cycle counts and perpetual counts.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proficiency with inventory management software Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role Excellent organizational and planning skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Forklift experience is a PLUS Overhead crane experience is a PLUS Working knowledge using measuring tapes
