METRC Lead 2.4 2.4 out of 5 stars 18350 Petroleum Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 The Metrc Lead works with managers across all departments to ensure that tagging, logging, and tracking of plants, waste, plant tissue, seed stock and harvested cannabis are done in accordance with standards and regulations governing the cannabis industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works with the Inventory/Compliance department to assist with plant tagging and inventory cycle counts. Encourages and maintains the flow of the facility. Maintains a culture of professionalism. Ensures that METRC is always current and compliant. Conducts regular METRC audits to remediate issues as needed. Conducts regular inventory audits, reconcile inventory records as needed, and maintain extensively organized and compliant inventory records. Oversees general organization, safety, and cleanliness. Communicates with other staff members regarding inventory discrepancies and how to avoid them. Identifies inventory discrepancies troubleshoot, remediates issues, and updates procedures to ensure the situation is isolated. Performs other duties as assigned Must be able to obtain a state badge and pass a background check. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Mathematical skill and attention to detail. At least 1 year of METRC experience working under a Producer License. At least 1 year of METRC experience working under a Wholesale License. Has worked in a large recreational cannabis environment. Proficient in Excel. METRC certified is preferred. Takes direction well. Works well under pressure. Likes to be part of a team. Computer savvy.
