PM Job Summary :
Inventories all supplies within the Core at the St Tammany Surgery Center with the aid of a handheld tablet to maintain established PAR levels. Responsible for receiving, organizing, labeling, and stocking supplies within the St Tammany Surgery Center Core. Inventories the St. Tammany Surgery Center Core daily to determine needed supplies. Utilizes handheld tablet along with open order report to determine correct quantities for replenishment. Upon receiving supplies from receiving dock, removes all items from corrugate and puts them away within the Surgery Center Core using the FIFO (First in First Out) method. Responsible for validating expiration dates weekly. Communicates supply issues to respective Buyer and assists with researching and approving substitute items when needed. Maintains correct PAR levels, shelf and bin locations within Workday. Accurately label supplies stocked in the core utilizing Workday to print labels. Helps with bi-annual inventory count. Builds and maintains productive relationships with sales representatives and Surgery Leads.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school graduate or equivalent is required. Good interpersonal, organizational ability, communication, human relation and decision-making skills required. Healthcare product knowledge preferred. Hospital experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.
