Overview:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for analyzing and improving inventory processes, ensuring inventory accuracy, and coordinating supply orders to meet offshore demands.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate inventory analysis and continuous improvement sessions to identify and deliver solutions to remove impediments to flow and achieve desired business outcomes. Run reports daily/weekly/monthly to monitor key inventory characteristics and ensure accuracy for the GoM region. Identify parts and materials as necessary, providing feedback to correct material master descriptions and other relevant data. Perform periodic analysis of inventory levels, recommending adjustments to minimum and maximum reorder points to meet offshore demand. Coordinate with operations and purchasing to order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus. This assignment will be 2-3 hitches minimum
Qualifications:
Knowledge of inventory management, data maintenance, materials management, and warehouse operations. Strong analytical, reporting, and data manipulation skills.
