Holliston, MA (on-site) Description Pure Hockey is a privately-owned specialty sporting goods company with over 80 hockey retail locations and an e-commerce business. Positioned as the number one hockey retail company in the country, Pure Hockey offers qualified candidates the opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing business The Inventory Control Specialist will report directly to the Asset Protection Manager. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for administrative and inventory control duties and tasks.

Responsibilities:

Support company-wide weekly cycle count process. Perform audits of the cycle counts to detect potential theft, shrinkage, or process violations. Monitor and review inventory transactions in the ERP and POS systems to identify unusual patterns, discrepancies, or potentially fraudulent activity. Analyze exception reports, such as negative inventory, or returns reports, to detect irregularities or unauthorized actions. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner Generate inventory reports and analyze data for trends, variances, and performance metrics. Assist with audits and compliance related to inventory control standards Perform inventory adjustments as needed Perform security functions

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field. Proficiency with MS Office applications; Must be able to use Excel at an intermediate level Intermediate knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, POS, and inventory systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be detail oriented and a tenacious pursuer of answers Superb interpersonal and communications skills Ability to multi-task effectively with limited or no supervision Demonstrates flexibility with sudden priority changes Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong adherence to protocols and procedures
