Below are the core traits and skills we’re prioritizing: Technical Aptitude Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional logic, etc.) Experience exporting and reconciling data from a wide range of systems, including web-based platforms, WMS, and ERPs such as SAP and Synapse Ability to manually reconcile and align data across systems that do not integrate, using Excel as the primary tool for investigation and validation Analytical & Proactive Identifies and investigates inventory variances independently Builds a daily task list based on both system reports and floor walkthroughs Uses data to prevent and solve recurring inventory issues Organized & Self-Motivated Begins each day with a physical walkthrough of the dock Works independently and prioritizes tasks effectively Maintains detailed documentation and structured processes Coachable & Professional Open to feedback and fast learner during system training Communicates respectfully and constructively with leadership Understands the importance of accuracy and system alignment Day-to-Day Expectations (After Training): Walk the dock to assess inventory visually before logging in Run the OB Inventory Reconcile Report and investigate bin touch errors Perform cycle counts and match discrepancies across Synapse and SAP Systematically reconcile and document inventory variances Communicate findings with the Operations and Office Managers Complete project work: consolidations, damage checks, 5S location upkeep, etc. We’re looking for someone who takes full ownership of their work, is driven to keep systems aligned, and operates with professionalism and initiative.
