Planning/Inventory Specialist $24.23/hour, 7am-4pm Monday-Friday Position Available In Alamance, North Carolina

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

: Follow company policies, safe work practices, prevent injury to yourself and other employees Report any unsafe work conditions or any work related injury to your supervisor immediately Attend all yarn planning meetings Review the weekly yarn schedule distributed by division planning Determine the fiber and yarn needs for each yarn facility based on the schedule using Jomar BOM system Calculate the pounds of fiber and yarn required to satisfy the schedule Determine, through Jomar inventory, the location of the of the materials required Forward a list of the materials needed to the appropriate plant/warehouse location along with a schedule for delivery Coordinate deliveries with the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Create all necessary work orders through Jomar with assistance from the Production Coordinator at Burlington Plant and the Manufacturing Manager at Novelty Yarn and Mini Module Plants Plan and execute monthly WIP and warehouse inventories for the Burlington Campus and Logistics Warehouses Prepare all inventory documentation and submit to division accounting when completed Work closely with Burlington Campus managers to ensure all planning needs are met Perform all assigned tasks to the best of one’s ability Perform all assigned tasks safely
