Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our logistics and supply chain team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing routine audits, and ensuring that warehouse stock levels meet company requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with inventory management systems, and a commitment to operational efficiency and accuracy.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of an associate’s degree or vocational training in logistics or supply chain management.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Familiarity with inventory software such as Syspro, Oracle, NetSuite, or other WMS/ERP systems.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Track and maintain accurate inventory levels using Syspro and RiteScan software.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials.
  • Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Report inventory issues (e.g., low stock, damage, mislabeling) to the warehouse manager.
  • Work closely with logistics and shipping teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Generate inventory reports and assist in forecasting stock requirements.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized inventory area.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed (certification may be required).
  • Assist with returns processing and quality control checks.
  • Support inventory system upgrades, data entry, and documentation.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced distribution center environment.
  • Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
  • May involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
