Inventory Coordinator
Inventory Specialist
Charlotte, North Carolina
Added – May-05-2025 Temp-To-Hire Our client, an international consumer products company, seeks an Inventory Coordinator position on a full time temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, supplies, and materials are received, stored, catalogued, and prepared. Candidate must be forklift certified.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Unloads and loads trucks of palletized and non-palletized product
Operates forklift to store merchandise and materials properly
Purchases and receives materials in a timely fashion into our system
Stocks shelves and supply room(s)
Picks, packs, and ships daily supply and part orders
Picks, prepares, and occasionally assembles new equipment
Fills out bills of lading and paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments
Tracks incoming and outgoing stock
Maintains inventory control, including equipment fixed assets, cycle counts, and physical inventories per company policy
Maintain adequate and appropriate stocking levels
Runs, updates, and distributes select branch team reports such as order workflow statuses and open goods receipts
Coordinates and tracks return of non-company assets by working closely with administration and sales personnel
Maintain inventory in an organized and labeled method working with warehouse personnel
Maintains overall warehouse organization and cleanliness
Cross-trains with other inventory coordinators and team members in the department to back-up or to help with overflow in other areas
Assists on deliveries and in the field with installs and related equipment movements as needed
Assists with daily trash and recycling management
Other duties as assigned

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent education
Three to five (3-5) years of previous warehouse experience
Individuals should be physically fit and be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds on occasion, as well as walk and remain standing for long periods of time
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Valid driver’s license and clean record
Proficiency with computers, as you will be expected to use our SAP system to properly manage inventory and transact system movements, along with managing specific reports in the system
Become familiar with warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, lift gates, and RF barcode-scanning devices for inventory management
Forklift experience required
Previous project management experience a plus
Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. skills preferred
