Position Overview:

We’re hiring a Maintenance Supervisor / Trailer Inventory Control Specialist to lead our trailer operations, oversee equipment maintenance processes, and manage trailer inventory. This role is a hybrid position, requiring both office work and hands-on field inspections . You will play a key role in tracking trailer assets, creating and closing maintenance tickets, onboarding equipment, and ensuring DOT compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee trailer and truck maintenance workflow Perform physical inspections on 18-wheelers and 53′ dry van trailers Open and close maintenance work orders and service tickets Maintain updated logs and trailer status reports Manage trailer inventory, storage locations, and tracking systems Onboard new trailers and ensure readiness for use Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and vendors to streamline repairs and inspections Ensure safety and regulatory compliance at all times

Requirements:

Prior experience with 18-wheelers and 53′ dry van trailers (REQUIRED) Strong understanding of maintenance practices and DOT regulations Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Comfortable working in both office and yard environments Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and basic maintenance software Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
