Key duties include performing regular stock counts, tracking stock movements, placing supplier orders, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role also involves receiving shipments, verifying quantities, managing stock rotation, and collaborating with logistics and customer service to optimize inventory processes while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Roles and Responsibilities Inventory Control Specialist:

Employee in this position will be responsible for the overall material movements and activities related to the below maintenance activities including but not limited to:

Stock Management:

Conduct regular physical and cycle counts, ensuring inventory accuracy.

Order Processing:

Place purchase orders based on stock levels and demand forecasts.

Receiving and Inspection:

Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

Inventory Tracking:

Monitor stock levels and movements using inventory management systems.

Data Analysis:

Analyze inventory trends to identify potential stockouts and improvement areas.

Discrepancy Resolution:

Investigate and resolve mismatches between physical counts and records.

Reporting:

Generate inventory reports detailing stock levels, reorder points, and usage trends.

Compliance:

Follow company policies and safety standards for inventory management.

Communication:

Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow.

Job Kitting:

Collaborate with the maintenance team to prepare and organize job kits, keeping the kitting area orderly. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and material handling guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas. Must Haves Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agility CMMS software or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Strong organizational skills to handle and manage large volumes of inventory data accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail for precise recording of inventory counts and identifying discrepancies. Analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and make informed inventory management decisions. Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory quantities, costs, and related calculations. Computer proficiency with inventory management software and spreadsheets. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, and other departments.
