Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7am-330pm

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Performing intermediate with some independence and variety of work unloading/loading, stocking, picking and inventory of materials, supplies and equipment for use by Town departments and contractors. Staging, arranging and rotating products in a neat and organized approach. Maintaining the necessary counts, records and reports accurately. This position reports to the Purchasing and Contracts Manager. Requires general direction on work that is broad in scope. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

A SAMPLE OF THE ESSENTIALS

Assists departmental employees and contractors by pulling products listed on work order and records department and account numbers onto the Inventory withdrawal form. Operates forklift to unload/load products for departments and contractors. Operates a forklift to unload shipments of products and verifies counts comparing to packing slips and purchase order. Rotates inventory and replenishes products in the warehouse and outside storage area. Enters and maintains computerized inventory of product withdrawals. Prints and enters service orders for refuse carts and makes deliveries as needed. Performs routine office duties, accordingly; picks up and delivers mail to Town buildings as needed. Conducts periodic physical inventory to check actual versus computer data. Adjusts data as needed. Performs related tasks as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one (1) year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
