Full-Time, contract to direct hire RPh on the Go is currently seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail for an Inventory Administration role.
Position Summary :
The Inventory Administration Pharmacy Technician plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and efficient inventory management within the pharmacy. This position ensures that medications and supplies are appropriately stocked, monitored, and reordered to support optimal pharmacy operations and patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor medication stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits. Process and track incoming and outgoing pharmaceutical orders. Maintain accurate inventory records in accordance with state and federal regulations. Coordinate with vendors, wholesalers, and internal departments to ensure timely restocking and minimize backorders. Manage returns and recalls in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Assist with controlled substance inventory management and documentation. Identify and report discrepancies or product issues to management. Utilize pharmacy management software for data entry and reporting. Support pharmacists and other team members with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician License (required). High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting (inventory or administrative experience a plus). Proficiency with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with DEA and Board of Pharmacy inventory requirements is highly desirable.
