Position Summary:

The Inventory & Yard Specialist for CWS Fence & Guardrail is responsible for managing the Company’s material and inventory from arrival in the yard to loading and unloading vehicles for installation. This includes ensuring that material is unloaded, checked-in, labeled, stored, and loaded efficiently. The Inventory & Yard Specialist must provide clear and consistent written and verbal communication to a variety of internal and external resources regarding materials and inventory.

Essential Job Functions:

Load and unload various materials on and off trucks and trailers Count and confirm quantities of materials received and shipped against bill of lading or load list Safely operate a loader in an outdoor environment Move, stack and label materials throughout the stockyard Ability to perform physical labor, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently through the day Other stockyard and warehouse duties as assigned

Experience/Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar role Materials handling and inventory management experience required Familiarity with digital inventory management systems, tracking and reporting preferred Proven loader operator experience preferred Self-starter with sound judgment, positive attitude, takes initiative, and adapts to changing work environment Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Drivers’ License Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Day shift with overtime Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds as required throughout the workday Outdoor environment with exposure to year-round weather conditions Bending, squatting, climbing, standing for long periods of time Ability to grasp, discern color, be capable of using tools and equipment properly Must be able to maneuver in and out of vehicles safely Must be able to climb ladders (on vehicles) when necessary
