Inventory Control Specialist NJ Everflow Supplies Inc – 3.2 Carteret, NJ Job Details $20 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Heavy lifting Database management Cherry picker Entry level Full Job Description 1 st shift position 6am-3pm Monday-Thursday 6am 2-pm Friday 2 nd Shift position 12pm-7:30 pm Sunday and 3:30pm-12:30 am Monday -Thursday With four weeks training from 9am-6pm for both positions. Inventory Control Specialist Position Summary The employee will be responsible for counting and reconciling inventory part counts, organizing bin locations and checking in RGA, this will entail but not limited to, researching, investigating, and asking key people in the search for an accurate count. Also tallying up counts and updating our operating system. Everflow Supplies is looking for a punctual, communicative, diligent, and a detail-oriented person. Duties and Responsibilities Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; tracks orders and investigates problems. Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Unpack, and consolidate/replenish items as necessary, labels shelves. Processes and document returns as required following established procedures. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Assist pickers with missing items. Able to be a team player with inventory team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data. Database management skills. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Operate Cherry Picker Knowledge of Word and Excel a must. Physical/Work Environments Walking, standing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout long periods of the day. Changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to cold, heat, dust and loud noise. Push and pulling pallets and lifting products. Physical strength to handle up to 60 pound object, frequently. Above average coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot and balance; above average endurance.
