Electronic Associate An Electronic Disassembly Associate processes and takes apart different electronics (desktops, servers, etc.) and prepares shipments. An information technology (IT) person is ideal for this position. he job involves learning efficient methods for disassembling electronics into individual components for upcycling and refurbishment. Candidates should have prior experience using a pallet jack. The successful applicant for the Electronic Disassembly position is a problem solver, is self-motivated, works on teams as well as independently, and is able to recall information. They need be able to take directions well. They should be curious about what makes electronics function, and which electronics are valuable / in demand. Preferred applicants have experience with power and hand tools.
Work summary:
- Process and disassemble / test different electronics (desktops, servers, LCD Monitors etc) using hand and power tools
- Use tools to handle inventory (including forklifts, electronic pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks)
- Prepare and load outbound freight shipments
- Pull processors from desktop computers
- Weigh and tag inventory using our computer software
- Audit inventory as needed Preferred background/interests: (not required) General knowledge or an interesting in learning about a variety of computer hardware and software Experience (past field or hobbies) working with hands, powertools, etc Experience with warehouse environments
Requirements:
- 18+ years old
- Pallet jack and forklift experience
- Subject to random substance screenings
- Able to lift, push, pull 75 lbs throughout a work shift
GED/ HS Diploma Job Type:

$16.00 – $18.00 per hour
