Currently we are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Inventory Specialist to work for a new cannabis dispensary in Buffalo, NY. The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring efficient order fulfillment within the organization. This position involves monitoring stock levels, analyzing data to identify trends, and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain. Duties Counting and Verifying Shipments from Cultivators Entering Inventory into Inventory Management System Capable of working with an Inventory Management System Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Review Inventory for defects within allotted time frame Run Inventory Labeling and Label products with correct labels Fulfill Product Orders Able to work in a high pace environment Able to work with a team Skills Knowledge of cannabis strains and products Enthusiasm and passion for cannabis. Strong process improvement skills with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency. Excellent data analysis skills. Familiarity with materials management concepts and best practices. Experience in conducting root cause analysis for problem-solving purposes. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in all tasks related to inventory control. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of our inventory system, contributing significantly to the success of our operations.

Job Types:

$18.00 – $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
