The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our distribution center, and supporting production planning efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes and excellent data management skills to optimize inventory control and supplier management. Duties Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage supplier relationships effectively. Utilize data mining techniques to analyze inventory trends and forecast demand accurately. Implement best practices in materials handling to enhance efficiency within the distribution center. Collaborate with production planning teams to align inventory with production schedules and requirements. Utilize Tableau for data visualization and reporting, providing insights into inventory performance metrics. Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Assist in developing strategies for cost-effective inventory management while maintaining quality standards. Experience Proven experience in inventory management or a related field, preferably within a distribution center environment. Familiarity with supply chain principles, demand planning, and production planning processes is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings. Proficiency in using software tools such as Tableau for data analysis and reporting. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
