Summary You will serve as a Supervisory General Supply Specialist of in the Aviation Outfitting Requirements Division of the Aviation Allowance & Outfitting Department at

NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS

SUPPORT, Philadelphia PA. Responsibilities You will prepare, manage, execute, and defend requirements to sustain the operation and continuous support for the customer. You will make the final decisions affecting branch operations, policy, and procedure. You will conduct personnel performance evaluations with individual employees, noting details of performance, opportunities for improvement and personal development. You will communicate support of these policies to subordinates. You will assist in efforts regarding staffing, motivation and training to develop all employees, and ensures equitable consideration for training opportunities and nominations for teams and committees. You will identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training, finding ways to improve production. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Must exhibit qualities of strong leadership to lead a diverse workforce and manage multiple functional processes.2) Must have in depth knowledge of Navy ERP and various other supply-related systems to manage outfitting requisitions originating from retail allowance development.3) Must have strong background in early lifecycle system planning to steward the development of allowance requirements registers and pre-MSD allowance delivery and transition.4) Must demonstrate exceptional skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) to assist in performing analysis on outfitting data or pre-MSD allowance packages.5) Must possess excellent problem-solving skills to help team troubleshoot system related issues and to plan for and overcome a range of potential problems.
