Summary The Equipment Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow, balance, and accuracy of new equipment inventory across all dealership locations. This role ensures that the dealership maintains optimal inventory levels to support sales objectives while maximizing inventory turns and minimizing holding costs. Responsibilities Place and manage orders for new equipment from manufacturers based on forecasted demand and sales trends. Monitor and report on inventory turnover metrics; make recommendations to improve turns and reduce aged stock. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure physical counts match system records. Coordinate inter-store transfers to balance inventory across multiple dealership locations. Create purchase orders for new equipment, place orders with suppliers. Oversee transfers with other dealerships Collaborate with sales staff and leadership to forecast demand and align inventory strategy with sales plans. Maintain accurate records in the inventory management system and ensure timely data entry and updates. Requirements Proven experience in inventory management, equipment sales, or dealership operations. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with inventory software and dealership management systems Excellent communication and coordination skills to work across departments and locations. Understanding of agricultural, construction, or industrial equipment preferred.
