Job Description
Inventory Control Specialist 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Mercer, PA 16137 This position is responsible for issuing all materials out of the storeroom as well as ensuring the inventory within our system is always current and up to date. Duties & Responsibilities Once items are received into the staging area, this person will move the inventory to their proper lcoation
- both physically and within the ERP. Create new part numbers Using BOMs and Pick lists, pull and issue job materials from the storeroom to the assembly bays for upcoming jobs. Pull replacement parts
- one short notice
- to ensure production does not shut down.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all parts inventory within the facility. Ensuring accuracy of our inventory within the system. Cross trained in Receiving positions to fill in where needed. Other tasks as instructed by supervisor Assist with inventory counts
Qualifications Education:
High school or GED, Vo-Tech/Trade School (preferred)
Experience:
1-2 years industrial/manufacturing environment Specific skills: Forklift (preferred); ERP or WMS experience (preferred)
Physical Abilities:
Standing/bending full shift, lifting up to 50lbs, exposure to loud noises may require hearing protection, exposure to chemicals and fumes may require use of respirator, various sheet metal products may require specific PPE protection, communication with others, some repetitive motion
