Inventory and Receiving Specialist The Ceramic Shop Norristown, PA 19401
Overview:
Join The Ceramic Shop, a leading Ceramic Supply company on the East Coast, in the role of Inventory Specialist. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the warehouse, website, and retail store team; ensuring the accuracy and availability of quality ceramic supplies for our diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
Keep a detailed log of shipments coming into the store and warehouse Properly account for the location of incoming goods Document damaged items and communicate with vendors regarding discrepancy resolution Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list Update the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory Package products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary operates forklift, weigh scales, pallet jacks and other equipment necessary to assist with incoming/outgoing shipments
Qualifications:
Prior experience in materials management is preferred. Prior warehouse experience preferred Understanding of inventory management Strong math and computation skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities. Knowledge of ceramics or art materials market dynamics is desirable.
