Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Lead leads daily operations within the department to ensure accurate and timely inventory control process with maximum efficiency and accuracy for all SKUs. Monitors inventory levels and product movement. Also accountable for facilitating efficient order fulfillment and contributing to a safe and organized working environment. Provide coaching assistance to the picking team members.
Job Level:
Experienced Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in managing Inventory Control Specialists. Training new hires in processes and procedures. Utilizing AS400/ White Carousel System. Process daily cycle counts. Perform random counts on selected items. Cycle count and research product discrepancies. Inform and coordinate manufacture discrepancies relating to improper labeling, shortages, and markings with Supply Chain. Maintain inventory accountability and accuracy. Work with speed and accuracy. Overtime as business requires. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience preferred. Outstanding leadership skills Experience utilizing the AS400/ White Carousel System. Ability to count quickly and accurately. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze / problem solve. Ability to multi-task, work well in a fast-paced environment, and have good follow-through skills. Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints is required. Must be well-organized, observant, and a self-starter. Manage a variety of projects simultaneously with little oversight. Be ready and eager to lend a hand and help customers and peers with challenges. Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment focusing on customer satisfaction. Good attitude and initiative. Take pride in their work environment and embraces 5S principles. Ability to communicate verbally effectively. Excellent attention to detail. Other duties assigned by supervisor.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Environment:
Approximately 100% of the time performing job duties is spent indoors in a warehouse with limited heating or air conditioning. The temperature of the work environment, when in the office, is moderate. The temperature of the work environment in the warehouse may equal to the outside temperatures of the area. While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electric shock. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
