Inventory Control Specialist Wood’s Ace Hardware & Mercantile 713 Old Trolley Road, Summerville, SC 29485 Overview Ace Hardware is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Manager to join our team. The Inventory Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring inventory accuracy meets or exceeds 80% at all times. This position will require regular utilization of Epicor & Mango Report, Ace Hardware’s proprietary inventory accuracy program. As a key member of the team, you will be required to attend weekly Level 10 meetings at 9:30am every Tuesday. Responsibilities Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring it remains at or above 80%. Use Mango Report to manage and analyze inventory data for discrepancies and improvements. Implement best practices to enhance inventory management processes. Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to track stock levels. Collaborate with team members to identify issues and resolve inventory-related challenges promptly. Ensure inventory records are updated accurately and in a timely manner. Use Ace Hardware’s proprietary Mango Inventory System to monitor, update, and manage store inventory levels. Track low-stock and out-of-stock items and coordinate reordering to maintain proper inventory levels. Verify shipments, inspect goods for accuracy and damage, and update the Epicor system to reflect received inventory. Perform routine inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and adjust records in the Epicor system. Ensure all product data in the Epicor system is accurate, including pricing, SKUs, and descriptions. Identify and resolve inventory shrinkage issues by tracking discrepancies and reporting findings. Assist customers with inventory inquiries and provide excellent customer service when needed. Perform duties of the keyholder position according to scheduling needs. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to utilize inventory software, specifically Mango Report (training will be provided). Previous experience in retail inventory management preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems (experience with Ace Hardware’s Mango Inventory System & Epicor is a plus!). Proficiency in using computers and ability to adapt to new technology. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lift and move inventory as needed (up to 50 lbs). Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
