Linen & Laundry Inventory Coordinator Meliora Properties Group Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 Overview We are seeking a Linen & Laundry Inventory Coordinator. This role plays a critical support role within the housekeeping department. This individual is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records for linens and terry (towels), inspecting incoming laundry shipments for quality and completeness, and assisting with occasional guest room cleaning to support peak operational needs. Responsibilities Inventory Management Monitor and record all inventory levels of sheets, pillowcases, towels, and other linen items. Update stock records regularly using designated software or logs. Notify supervisors when linen levels fall below reorder thresholds. Assist with monthly inventory audits and loss tracking. Laundry Shipment Inspection Receive and inspect incoming clean laundry from laundry vendors. Verify counts match delivery logs and report discrepancies. Check for stains, tears, or poor folding quality, and reject subpar items. Coordinate with laundry service providers on replacements and redeliveries as needed. Room Cleaning Support (Occasional) Fill in as a room attendant as needed during high-occupancy periods. Follow housekeeping checklists to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness and presentation standards. Maintain OSHA and property-specific safety standards during cleaning tasks.
