JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for implementing, counting, and monitoring all cycle count activities to ensure the integrity of our inventory. The individual will also identify operational issues and strengthen our team with further development in employee training programs in the retail and serialized distribution processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

Specialist will organize, plan, and execute inventory training sessions for all key team members. This incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the functional preparation of our team members by completing training documents, SOPs and training all staff in key positions. The position will strive to create a high standard of best practices by investing time and consistency in training content. Individual must be highly motivated and organized with the ability to multi-task. Individual must be fluent in all major warehouse activities and understand how physical movements correlate with systemic transactions. Responsible for managing and working in the cycle count process in retail distribution and assist the serialized operations to achieve departmental performance goals. Responsible for reporting tracking and reporting cycle count performance weekly/monthly as needed. Must be able to lead the end of year cycle count initiatives. May be responsible for verifying storage recommendations for product type. Identify product discrepancies and communicate all issues to vested parties. Oversee process audits to accurately verify that all piece counts on Purchase Orders, Packing Slips and the actual product match when received. Participates/Leads in the 5S Program in functional areas. Follows the company’s Supply Chain Philosophy while maintaining a clear understanding of departmental goals and objectives contribute to the success of the business. Create process SOPs for training and inventory control activities. All other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 2

to 5 years of relative warehouse work experience Exceptional presentation skills Knowledge of WMS, Microsoft Office, and Motorola hand-held scanners a plus Working knowledge of motorized pallet jack and forklift certified a plus Able to work all areas of the warehouse operation based on the needs of the organization.

Math Skills:

Inventory associates will be using basic math to add inventory. Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, and timely. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and duties at the same time. Understands, follows, and enforces the Supply Chain Philosophy. Has a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and aligns to the warehouse contributions. Dependable, Deadline-Oriented, time management skills, safety awareness, maintains professionalism at all times in our business environment. Career driven with a desire to grow with the company. Maintains a positive attitude, is goal driven and focused on the betterment and overall strategic picture of the organization. WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed in an operational warehouse environment. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend or holiday hours. Overtime may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, twisting, bending, seeing, stooping, balancing, hearing. Team members will be lifting objects weighing from less than 20 pounds to 60 pounds. Must be at least 18 years of age.
