Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Inventory and Materials Specialist to join their team. As an Inventory and Materials Specialist, you will be part of the operations team supporting various functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?
Act as the Plant liaison between Operations, Metal Purchasing, and Suppliers to ensure materials meet operational and quality standards.
Manage used beverage cans (UBCs) and other metal units from procurement to production processes.
Count inventory and scrap, update daily inventory, and distribute necessary information.
Coordinate incoming material schedules and assist with load rejections.
Develop Charge Blending plans to maximize scrap utilization.
What’s Needed?
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Ability to work effectively in a high-performance, cross-functional team environment.
Demonstrated understanding of metal flow processes and the ability to identify inaccuracies.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis methodologies is preferred.
