Warehouse Clerk/Inventory Specialist Great Lakes Boat Top Co. 15 Quality Circle, Vonore, TN 37885 Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse/Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move products throughout the warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods, ensuring timely shipping and receiving, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Duties Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges. Inspect each shipment to ensure shipments are accurate and correctly packed. Create shipping labels for Fed Ex and UPS small parcel. Accurately inventory from the warehouse. Correctly identify merchandise in warehouse and perform inventory control. Effectively manage warehouse inventory via ERP system Place proper postage on packages and track shipment’s delivery status. Be able to use scanners, postage machines, scales, etc. Operate a forklift. Unload goods and make sure of their location in warehouse. Requirements Proven experience in materials handling within a warehouse or distribution center environment. Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed. Valid forklift certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Review all orders upon delivery to ensure that all orders are complete, charges are correct. Able to operate a computer. Operating equipment, such as dolly, pallet jack, forklifts, etc. Must be willing to work overtime as needed (staying late or coming in early if needed).
